This full length biography of the pioneer doctor in northern British Columbia. Wrinch went up to Hazelton at the confluence of the Skeena and Bulkley Rivers in 1900 and stayed for thirty-six years. He was the first resident doctor in the northern interior and he built the first hospital in the northern interior. A farmer, community leader, magistrate, Methodist minister, two term member of the BC legislature and prominent advocate in the 1920s for public health insurance.
